A fabulous pair of antique Edwardian drop earrings adorned with two glowing cabochon moonstones held in bezel frames at the bottom with a small cherry-pink ruby sat above. The moonstones weigh approx. 3.8ct each and emit a bright blue light that shimmers across the surface.
The mystifying moonstone derives its name from the stone’s ethereal, luminescent light that was once believed to be moonlight in solid form. In Greek mythology they were associated with Selene, the feminine moon Goddess and said to be a path to love, wisdom and new beginnings.
The pair are fashioned in 15ct gold with new 9ct hooks at the top. They look wonderful dangling from the ear and showcase a gorgeous combination of gemstones.
