A glamorous pair of Art Deco drop earrings from the 1920s showcasing two slender, navette droppers lined with seven bright brilliant cut diamonds, and stripes of French cut pink rubies. The diamonds graduate in size toward the centre, totalling approx. 0.84ct across both and have a clean, white sparkle and superb SI 1 clarity – H colour.
Diamonds are a stone of perfection, desired throughout history for their exceptional lustre and brilliant fire that is symbolic of everlasting love and strong commitment. Similarly, rubies are considered a stone of the heart and are said to bring good fortune in love.
The pair are classically Deco in fashion and are modelled in 18ct white gold, along with the hooks, with milgrain detailing chasing around the borders.
They’re very eye-catching and are accompanied by their original box with cream velvet interior and the maker’s insignia under the lid, belonging to “John. B. Jackson Goldsmith”.
We recommend you insure for £3,300. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
